Daytime Activities in Redding

Turtle Bay Bird Sanctuary – It may not look like much from the outside but birth enthusiasts love this place. Tucked away near the heart of the city this marshy tract of land houses some of the best-protected birds in Cali. Bring your binoculars!
Riverview Golf Club – If it’s a challenging 18 you’re itching for, look no further than Riverview. Just a few miles from downtown this well-maintained course isn’t always open to the public but it’s easy to find a group needing a fourth.
Cottonwood – Just south of Redding is the quaint town of Cottonwood, making a comeback in its own right. Stroll around the shopping district or grab lunch at one of the local joints. Make a day trip out of it but be back in Redding in time for dinner!
