Festivals And Fairs In The Redding Area
There are some great festivals and fairs in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. The first festival is the Berks Jazz Fest. The Berks Jazz Fest is a 10 day festival of great jazz music. People will travel from all of the world to come see the people who are playing at this festival. The second festival is the Berks Salsa Fest. The Berks Salsa Festival happens on August 12th through the 14th. It is done for donations to a non-profit children’s Latin dance troupe. This is the six year of the festival. Professional salsa dancers perform all during the festival for an audience.
The third festival is the Chile Pepper Festival. The Chili Pepper Festival happens on September 9th and 10th. The festival consist of a chili pepper eating contest, the world’s best salsa contest, and a field where people can pick their own chili peppers. The fourth festival is the Kutztown Folk Festival. The Kutztown Folk Festival is a great place to enjoy the Pennsylvania Dutch Folklife and have a ton of fun doing it. There is plenty of food, entertainment, crafts, and an area just for the kids. The food is a blend of all of the German foods.
