Lake Shasta Majestic mountains and towering evergreens are the backdrop for some of the most beautiful vacation pictures you'll ever take. Located in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Lake Shasta has 370 miles of shoreline, the largest of any California lake. So you can explore for days through inlets and coves, or plan side trips through abandoned mines and fossil beds. Take a tour through the Shasta Caverns and Shasta Dam. Or a side trip by car to Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen's volcano, and Castle Crags. For more information, visit the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association online.
